Roger is a native of Schenectady, New York and a graduate of Duke University and the Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia. He earned his MBA from Sage College. While serving in the Navy he met his wife Charlotte and they have two children and three grandchildren. He is a Rotarian, Mason, a Navy Vietnam veteran (DD866) and a 30-year board member of the Boys and Girls Club.
